ROBERT D. RUNYON, AIA
President

Having founded Runyon Architects and Associates, Inc. in 1986, Mr. Runyon initially set out to provide architectural services to the restaurant industry.  With a background in Corporate Architecture for Casa Bonita Corp. and Project Architect for T.G.I. Fridays Corp, the company grew to include design expertise in entertainment facilities and retail planning and design.  More recently, Mr. Runyon has expanded his services to include assisted living, hospitality/resort and office buildings.  Runyon Architects has expanded its business to Latin America and has had project work in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, and Peru.  Our most recent branch was established in Bluffton, South Carolina in 2007.

Mr. Runyon's responsibilities focus on the development of corporate growth strategies, business development and administration, scope of services, contract administration, operations / personnel, consultant administration, design /  design management, Sr. Project Architect, and personal responsibility for the overall quality and value of the firm's professional services.
